They're vetted, almost acculturated, & will be booted from the US if they lose their gig

@mookie We watched it a few weeks ago. Kinda disappointed that there won’t be any more.
Just a small reminder... cuz that's it.

@jaredwhite I had no idea Apple did that. How disappointing. And yes, it is an amazing, compelling show. @hannu_ikonen
Study: In the first two years of the #COVID19 pandemic, the US saw an estimated 1,179,024 excess deaths. While it struck large metropolitan Northeastern counties early, "nonmetropolitan Southern counties had the highest cumulative relative excess mortality by July 2021." In other words, Republican, rural areas most likely to deny the risks, reject the vaccine and refuse to wear masks.
We are so unprepared for the next #COVID19 wave. Visited a pharmacy to buy some COVID tests. They don't have any and don't plan to restock them. Meanwhile, COVID continues to mutate, the population's immunity continues to fade, and we have another dangerous fall and winter ahead of normal social and travel behaviors with zero mitigations. Those who don't learn from history...
That is: at least 1 out of 20 people hospitalized with COVID in Massachusetts, and up to 1/10 people, DEFINITELY GOT COVID IN THE HOSPITAL.
@B_Whitewind Kinda like “locker room talk.”
@bronakins Easily.
@StillIRise1963 Too many. @hannu_ikonen
@DemocracyMattersALot Oh ffs.
This is really for my non-Jewish friends...
I know to many of you, Zionism appears to be a left/right issue, that is you believe that Zionist Jews are right wing, and non or anti-Zionist Jews are left wing.
This is not the case.
Zionism is an issue that does not fall neatly in the left/right political paradigm. Early Israeli Zionism was extremely left, even Communist in nature, and modern diasporatic Jews, many of whom are left-learning, are also Zionists.
If you're a gentile and wondering where you should fall on Zionism, the answer is generally: no where.
Zionism is a Jewish issue, deeply tied to Jewish thought and the Jewish experience. It's not a matter for you to weigh in on, and it's generally not a "political" issue, even though it has political implications.
As for Babka, it is not a Zionist or non-Zionist instance. We don't exclude or gatekeep Jews based on their stance towards Zionism.
