Well..just wanted to say thank you to all of my friends here and all of the new people who responded to the post about my cancer today...wow...what a neat community that cares about a friend or stranger going through some tough times...I won't forget it and I welcome the interaction...so, thanks again...it means something to me...

@jadevol The trouble with cancer is, no matter how long you live after surviving it, you will never go a day without thinking about it. As for me, I cry harder when I hear about someone else who didn’t make it when I did.

@AlliFlowers Yep....the move from complete cure to alarm from my doctors is disconcerting...They' ve had the MRI for a month and they are just looking at it now?

@jadevol Right. And remember we have no guarantees anyway.

When I finished my treatments I asked my oncologist if I was cured or if I was in remission. His response? “If in ten years, the cancer comes back, you were in remission. If in ten years you’re hit by a bus and killed, then I cured your ass."

@AlliFlowers Okay...I laughed out loud at that one...thank you....
