@uspolitics I am not convinced of that. Merchan delayed sentencing as an incentive for anti-Individual-ONE voters to push harder to keep him out of the WH.
@PaulDitz for some reason, the server idenified that picture as "sensitive content". Put on a hat?
@APBBlue @GayDeceiver Bark like a kitty!
@ai6yr We stopped in Furnace Creek one time when it was 120F. Not too pleasant – I mean, hotter than that one time in Phoenix at 108, but at least the air was comparatively clean.
@Ultraverified @GottaLaff please do not understate the case
The IRS said Friday that it has recovered $1.3 billion in unpaid taxes from high-income Americans who had either failed to file their returns or who hadn't fully paid what they owed.

@KayJanes brakefarts?
@SearingTruth @dogzilla Jadey Sofaman does not really seem evil, just pathetic. He is like another J.D. before him, except he does not trip over those word things like Mr Quayle did.
@bobschooley Dammit, have you been paying attention again? I thought the neurologist warned you about that. you are just going to hurt yourself, knock that shit off.
@log @davew @andrewfeeney @RickiTarr @ParadeGrotesque I used to use Phnurg. It was damn sick, but then the glipdorf bricked my Alto D40 and mrabek had canceled Phnurg so I was left in the storch.
I know I'm getting older, because people's conversations sound like this:
Have you seen Schenley, it's streaming in Smoob, but if you don't have Smoob, you can PowerWerk it on Placebu.
We used to do intake through Franangle, but we're switching to PLOOP, but it doesn't have chat, so we are having to add Blamama XD!
In Celebrity News, Bargain Bin Ted, is now engaged to Dierks, just in time for the opening of their bar/sleep monstrosity Smooth Brain.
@AmishSuperModel @stonekettle No, it was because the school did not have enough guns in it. All the teachers and the other kids should have been armed so that they could have taken that guy down (after a dozen people had been hit, naturally, but at least the shooter would have been taken down).
@sfdb It was white people died, right?
@enobacon @ai6yr Years and years ago, my brother, living in a loosely-populated area, came up with the notion of an inverse-bus. It would have been like a grocery delivery route for a rural area, where people place their orders and the truck makes its rounds, saving a lot of traffic. And probably carrying some unrequested stock that people could buy off the truck. Seems like it could have/could work.
@crooksandliars Can we start calling Individual-ONE "D'oh-nald"?
@ai6yr Cycling is great. I do enjoy it (except for the damn cars). But there is one small problem.
Roads.
For bicycles to be useful and efficient, they need paved roads. Pavement is massively costly to lay and maintain.
I am not sure what the answer is, other than greatly reducing suburbanization. Horses, maybe.
This graphic resonates strongly with me... Especially the serious need for us to move to walk/cycle/transportation. (maybe a pipe dream, but one must attempt to take the right path...)
