Tropical Storm #Bret set the record for furthest east developed tropical storm south of 23.5°N this early in #hurricane season.

Impressive, but note that the period of record for that region is only about 50 years because of a lack of data away from land.

On the House Jan 6 Committee getting out ahead of DoJ, I thought it good strategy for the Committee to get everything out there with its investigation & public hearings in order to “condition” Americans to the prospect that a former president was behind the overthrow attempt & should be criminally charged. The media can write all the articles it wants, I still think this was an effective coordinated strategy.
