This is how the most beautiful city in the world #Kyiv looked exactly a year ago. Ukraine will prevail. We might not always have electricity in our grid now, but the real source of light is our people #RussiaIsATerroristState

The Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act would require the Supreme Court to adopt a binding code of conduct. Congress should pass it without delay and hold hearings about the recent allegations. https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/analysis-opinion/real-supreme-court-news-isnt-alleged-alito-leak

If you’re one of the tens of millions of hardworking people wondering why your $10K or $20K student loan forgiveness is on hold, here’s why.
A GOP plaintiff—who himself had $48K in PPP loans forgiven—is suing because he only got only $10K—not $20K—in student loan forgiveness.🤦🏽♂️ So he’s suing to burn it all down. The GOP hypocrisy and war on working people is truly a thing to behold.
And this is why we can’t have nice things. Smh.
Senate adopts deal to block rail strike, sending it to Biden

One paid personal day. One. For one calendar year. Another win for management.
Unconscionable
A catastrophic rail strike was averted on Thursday as the Senate voted 80-15 on a new labor agreement to increase wages and health benefits for rail workers.
Republicans filibustered an additional Democratic bill that would have provided rail workers with 7 days of paid sick leave. The deal was voted down by a vote of 52-43, falling short of the 60 votes needed to overcome the filibuster. 1/

Senate votes to avert costly rail strike “But senators rejected a proposal to add seven days of paid sick leave to the agreement, which four rail unions demanded.” Joe Manchin was the sole Democrat to vote against paid sick leave. Quelle surprise. 😡 https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/3758563-senate-votes-to-avert-costly-rail-strike/
