A personal account from a married mother in her 40s who opted to terminate her pregnancy--a choice that would be unavailable if not criminal today in many states post-Dobbs.

An essay I wrote about my abortion is up on HuffPost. Hopefully hearing more stories about this choice helps to normalize and destigmatize the conversation. huffpost.com/entry/abortion-ma via @HuffPost@twitter.com

I'm in the virtual session 'Exploring speculative approaches to digital education futures' and feel energised and inspired by the words of @jaross @veletsianos and others here. For this, thank you.

OMG THIS IS AMAZING:

The MAGA Arizona county who refused to certify the results of the November election will cost Republicans a seat in the House: If the 47,000 ballots are not included in the final tally, Democrat Kirsten Engel will take the seat. -Jon Cooper

For those of us still wondering whether Merrick Garland will hold Trump and his key enablers accountable in the wake of the Stuart Rhodes' seditious conspiracy verdict: "The department will work tirelessly to hold accountable those responsible for crimes related to the attack on our democracy on Jan. 6th." May it be soon.

Academia friends: could you recommend any BA programs in English which have gone through a process of reinvention to diversify or 'decolonize' their course requirements and offerings? We are looking for models as we begin work on rethinking the Literature major and minors at Stevens.

BREAKING (CNN): The House Ways and Means Committee now has six years of Donald Trump's federal tax returns, ending a yearslong pursuit by Democrats to dig into one of the former president's most closely guarded personal details.
