In Slate, my collegue Mark Joseph Stern wrote about how transgender teachers are required by law to misgender themselves. Practically speaking, it's a ban on trans people teaching school.

Her brother's barber shop gone...Was just planning to visit our in-laws at the end of the month. Luckily my wife's family is in Napili which is a few miles north of #Lahaina so no fire...yet.
