My school got some #soniasotomayor books delivered a few years ago, I believe they were from a grant we applied to. We were delighted. We need more books that depict women of color in positions of power and encourage kids to be kind and brave. This #AP article is more GOP whataboutery. Selling books with a positive message is not the same as having a lobbying billionaire pay for your vacation.

Jeff Beradelli, who was one of the early meteorologists to break with the American Meteorology Association to publicly accept the consensus from climate science on #GlobalWarming still doesn't seem able to actually come right out and say that everyone needs to stop burning fossil fuels.

On the clip I saw of him on TV yesterday, he seemed to accept that it's going to only get worse for two more decades, but we can actually stop burning fossil fuels faster than that if we all try harder.
