I've been busy this morning so haven't checked to see if Trump has announced anything. And I have a book to finish reading and two more to start, so I won't check for news this afternoon. However, for those of you who are also busy but want to be in the loop-de-do, I'll make the announcement for him. Here 'tis:

Trump: "Today I am making an important announcement. You know that I am the President and so all my announcements are important. This one is also important. And it's also an announcement. A big one. It might be the biggest one in Presidential history. Probably it is the biggest one. Someone told me President Taft made big announcements too but probably not as big as mine. I'll ask someone to check. Or maybe Taft himself was big. But I bet he didn't play golf or own lots of property. Where was I? Oh yeah, the announcement. What? People are tired of waiting for the announcement? Who the hell are you? My chief of staff? You don't look familiar. Get him out of here. People have no manners. So rude. The announcement? What announcement? My announcement? Who said anything about an announcement? I'm going to take a nap and then play some golf. Is that what you wanted to know? Yes? Okay, good. Thanks for coming. I'll be holding a press conference later. Or tomorrow. Some time soon. And I'm sure I'll have lots to announce."

I summoned the will not to swear, but these fuckers don't need or deserve a courteous, long winded discussion. They need to know we are ANGRY.

So I wrote: "There is no discussion to be had. Vaccines save lives. mRNA vaccines for Covid are safe and effective. Real doctors, not grifting lawyers, should be making decisions on vaccine policy. And we are not going to lie down and die to accommodate RFK Jr's grifting or anyone else's cowardice."

The Epstein victims will be assembling on the Capitol steps on Wednesday. I hope the Dems are going to keep these women safe. There is no way Trump is going to allow this to go forward without disruption.
