@Adam_Cadmon1 On the other hand, Wagner's whole business model of recruiting prisoners to be soldiers was taken away (and given to Shoigu/Russian military) and Prigozhin has not criticized Putin, just Shoigu and "oligarchs." This seems like a power struggle between the two of them that's erupted outside of Putin's control and Prigozhin may be making a final stand because he realized his use by date was up. Putin is nowhere to be seen (maybe he died and that triggered this?). The FSB has obviously lined up behind Shoigu.
*This is all pure speculation on my part, of course.
