Sometimes when you admit to fucking up and take a plea, it works out better than denying everything and attacking everyone who tries to enforce the law.

@jik @AlliFlowers @amaditalks No, the takeaway, "Nothing will ever change, you must choose between two right wing, pro-war, pro-fossil fuel, pro-big business parties, and if you don't choose the slightly less awful one, then you are a bad person," is so demoralizing that people simply want to change the subject, and talk about small areas where some progress might be possible.

The Manhattan DA's office issued a subpoena to #EJeanCarroll's law firm seeking #Trump's deposition, particularly his comments on the Access Hollywood tape.
The DA defends the subpoena against Trump's motion to quash here.
Some portions of Trump's deposition pertaining to the Access Hollywood tape are now public, but the DA seeks the "full transcript, full video recording, and all exhibits related to the videotaped deposition."
