@JRBuckley @juddlegum Yes, it is about destruction of public education. This has been a goal of the Right Wing for a long time. They’ll use any issue at all to make it happen. The focus on #LGBTQ right now is just a convenience for them. Public education, done right, teaches critical thinking skills and provides enough knowledge to bootstrap the process. This is antithetical to the conservative mindset which emphasizes control and conformity. I’m PROUD my kids were INDOCTRINATED by good public schools! I can’t say that I agree with all their ideas, but my kids (now adults) are really good at justifying and explaining what they say. That is something conservative religious schools will never produce.
