This is in Michigan; I don't know who took the photos, but here is the drone footage from Storyful News. This happened on Christmas day 2022 according to photographer Nate Voytovick and CBS News. I am also posting the photos taken with a drone by Nathan on Christmas day 2022.

Co-founder of “Food Not Bombs” Global, Arrested today
"Keith McHenry, the co-founder of the global movement “Food Not Bombs” was arrested and jailed by the Santa Cruz Police Department today for the crime of serving food to the unhoused community members. Approximately 10 officers of the Santa Cruz Police Department arrested Keith at approximately 10:00 am today, December 27, 2022, in River Street Parking Garage #10, 24 River Street, as he was setting up tables to serve a meal out of the intense rain.
This egregious treatment of this community hero comes just two days after Food Not Bombs served a free Christmas feast to over 500 unhoused persons in downtown Santa Cruz. Keith is being held at Santa Cruz County Jail facing two misdemeanor charges of blocking a parking space and loitering in a parking garage. The police also confiscated some equipment belonging to Food Not Bombs including tables, cups for coffee and sugar."

@christyxcore It will be a collector’s item before they know it.
BREAKING: A #Republican District Attorney, Anne Donnelly from Nassau County, has opened a #criminal #investigation into #GeorgeSantos—the first of many to come.
George Santos will be gone by the end of his term or well before then. He should RESIGN.
@MichiganCJ @brndnpink@hachyderm.io @edutooter Similar to Alabama. There are two things that could be helpful across the board, never offered in my decades in AL schools: teaching to data, and special ed.
My latest at Digital Trends:
I’m ready for a folding iPhone — but only if it has these 5 things: https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/apple-iphone-fold-flip-things-i-want/
I was a skeptic at first, but after using a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, I’m a little more open about foldables. I would love to see what Apple could come up with if they enter the market.
@brndnpink@hachyderm.io @tdrummon @edutooter Maybe because (in the US at least) we are not thought of as leaders. A leader is respected. Teachers…not so much.
@tdrummon @AlliFlowers @brndnpink @edutooter Here's a good quote about humility and shepherding from a famous Sherpa ... "If it is a shame to be the second man on Mount Everest, then I will have to live with this shame."
@AlliFlowers @jeffmoore @brndnpink @edutooter I am in. When we hit the climate/death/misery wall, if there is one, a widely agreed-upon plan for healthy stewardship could transform the Earth.
@tdrummon @brndnpink@hachyderm.io @edutooter Interesting that you say that. In French the word “apprendre” is used both for to learn and to teach, depending on the preposition which follows.
For some reason I think more of administrators when I hear “servant leadership.” I don’t know why.
@jeffmoore @tdrummon @brndnpink@hachyderm.io @edutooter Let’s start a movement!
@tdrummon @brndnpink@hachyderm.io @edutooter A good teacher is a facilitator who guides a student through the path of learning. Maybe the word “teacher” is inadequate. Are we sherpas?
To run for any office at the Federal level, you must fill out an app to be a Candidate. There is a law if you lie on an application to the Fed Govt, it is FRAUD against the United States and a FELONY. Lying on any application to the Fed Govt be it for a job , or permits, housing asst, medical asst, grants, contracts and other things. If you lie on an app for ANY of those things, it's FRAUD against the United States and is punishable by imprisonment, fines or both.

@brndnpink@hachyderm.io @edutooter Follow-through is the most important piece. If there’s no follow-through, how do you evaluate effectiveness?
@brndnpink@hachyderm.io @edutooter Depends entirely on the teacher/area/level. K-6 can more easily be grouped. 7-12 and tertiary would do better with a menu.
@brndnpink@hachyderm.io @edutooter Definitely A. If a school/district enforces PD, it doesn’t apply to 100% of teachers and winds up boring those to whom it doesn’t apply. Allowing teachers to determine their own path gives them opportunities for growth in their own field AND allows them to explore new areas of interest.
