They buried the lede. Many states have already ratified a constitutional amendment to make POTUS a nation wide popular vote instead of electoral college and enough states have flipped to blue so that the idea of getting this done before 2028 is not unrealistic. Now, that’s a story.

Accurate.

We tried to get the new Moderna mRNA Flu vaccine, but it was not covered by our insurance, and would have cost us $219 each at Walgreens. So we ended up getting the regular shot.

ACIP is in chaos right now, as RFK Jr's changes were blocked but he has not appointed anyone new. This means guidance for insurers has been halted, and new vaccines might not get covered.

Victoria Broderick just won in TN-4 without @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy ever knowing her name.

@abdulelsayed.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy won in Michigan and @schumer.senate.gov@bsky.brid.gy did the opposite of help him.

The idea that those 2 take credit for this wave defies logic. They are not the "leaders" 🇺🇸 just voted for.

🔥 @troyjackson207 hell yeah

There’s always money for bombs and tax cuts for the rich, never for regular folks

“The results of these elections don’t demonstrate a mere interest in accountability for what Trump and his administration have done to us the past two years; they represent a demand to begin the arduous task of reweaving the fabric of this country from scratch,” writes Marisa Kabas: https://www.thehandbasket.co/p/midterm-mandate-blue-tsunami-democrats-power

Elon Musk is top of my list for immediate consequences -- betrayed Ukraine, betrayed the United States, each with his Starlink capitulation to Putin, the irrational glee he took with his DOGE terrorism. Everyone of his DOGE boys better lawyer up too. We can't have an Hostile Foreign Agent, compromised by Putin, running NASA and the DoD and our defense assets, and that's essentially what we've got.
