So, a quick vibe check on the US elections, in two personal interactions here yesterday:

1: a coworker at the office asked me "there's a bunch of election stuff on the MSN homepage, there was an election yesterday? what was it for?"

2: my Episcopalian mother in law is very concerned that people are "sinning" by voting for or celebrating a win for Democrats.
