@guyjantic Reminds me of when I met my quantitative analysis prof. He asked how I was feeling and I said I was terrified cause I’m not a math person. He laughed and replied “not to worry. Stats isn’t math.” @futurebird @whknott

"#Jews in the #Apeldoorn municipality, an hour's drive from the #Dutch capital, have experienced an outbreak of #antisemitism since the attacks in #Amsterdam earlier this month, De Telegraaf reported on Saturday.

Over the past week, residents have reported a number of stickers demanding “Apeldoorn #Jew Free.” The stickers are often accompanied by an image of the Ajax #soccer team, a team known to have a large number of #Jewish fans." :blobcatglaredrink:

@heidilifeldman We used to do that on Twitter about 15 years ago. I met a lot of really nice people. I’m only still in touch with a few now as they’re all spread to the winds.

@oldredsubby "All of us have sinned..."

Yeah, but not all of us gloat over our sins publicly & exultantly; and not all of us have won a US Presidential campaign on the strength of our promises to keep repeating those sins on as massive a scale as possible.

2/ “Hegseth’s attorney, Timothy Parlatore, said Hegseth was “visibly intoxicated” at the time of the incident, and maintained that police who were contacted a few days after the encounter by the woman concluded “the Complainant had been the aggressor in the encounter.” Police have not confirmed that assertion.

Well, if the Law won't slow the Evil Trumpists down, maybe Polio will.

I'm still just stunned that Americans chose to put the person who managed that pandemic the way he did back in charge.

Our media landscape just plain does not educate our citizens for shit does it.

One complaint about this first episode of the new season of : shooting this much in the dark is a cop out. Really unfair to the viewers.
