In general (note that), parents have as much of a right to tell teachers how to practice teaching as they do to tell doctors how to practice medicine: none. Zero. Zip. Zilch. The big fat goose egg. Nada. Both teachers and doctors are trained professionals who know best. School boards who tolerate this need to shut it down or be replaced with people who will shut it down at the source.

Why do we refer to Israel as “the Jewish state,” but not Palestine as “the Muslim state?” Why do we conflate religion with nationality?

Way too many people don't get that christian dominionism is an apocalyptic accelerationist doctrine VERY LITERALLY SEEKING to hasten their vision of the Biblical end of the world.
That is not hyperbole or misinterpretation or a joke.
And they have VERY CAREFULLY worked their way into the halls of U.S. power.
Mike Johnson as speaker in THIS moment is almost everything these "End Times" cheerleaders could have wanted, and I genuinely believe that there needs to be an internal audit and then reinforcement and potential reorganization of the president and vice president's secret service details.
