Masks are not a lockdown.
Nor is testing before events.
Or getting boosters.
Or improving ventilation & filtration.

None of those interventions (despite some people's best efforts to claim otherwise) cause more harm than good. Every person who cares about the economy, jobs & quality of life will support sensible #COVID19 precautions, not oppose them.

Some people are advocating for millions more to die and many more to be chronically disabled. Reject their patent lack of sense & empathy.

@Lownewulf Even when the repair guy showed up, he couldn’t do it. You can’t jump what you can’t access.

"For classrooms equipped with mechanical ventilation systems, the relative risk of infection of students decreased at least by 74% compared with a classroom with only natural ventilation." We can protect children, teachers and parents from a great deal of needless #COVID19 suffering, if only we cared enough to make the modest investment. And the same is true for offices, stores, restaurants, and event spaces.

I looked through old art recently and found this piece that I drew in middle or early high school (10-15 yrs old, for those in different school systems).

Looking at this, I am sad for the child I was - but happy that I've made changes to move away from this. Transition and effective mental health care have been vital.

I'm sharing this to show what the lack of open education about #trans and #queer identities, #neurodivergence, and mental health does to a queer and ND little kid.
