@tofugolem @mguhlin Think of mankind as a single body so that in the deep past they didn’t know any better - the earth is flat. Now we know better because science has proven it.

@mguhlin @tofugolem At some point in our history, there were critical thinkers. They either sold out or were run out. I’ve never been convinced that telling children not to question their elders was the smart move.

I still believe that having dogma pounded into you makes you feel like you don’t need to think for yourself.
