Never again means never again. There is no room for interpretation.

I'd love to report the lot of them. Don't see the teachings of Jesus reflected in anything they say or do.

Yes polls on President Trump’s immigration policy are now net unfavorable, but they are at best incomplete since how do we know how people who have been disappeared would have responded?

"The physician looked at her and said: 'Idaho is not a safe place to be pregnant right now.' Then, as the devastating truth sank in, he added: 'If you were my daughter, I’d have told you not to get pregnant in this state.' "

"A recent study published by the National Bureau of Economic Research of 13 states with strict abortion bans found that, between them, they are losing 36,000 residents every three months."

Tarpits are a new kind of poison pill for AI scrapers that trap the scrapers in an endless network of links pointing back at nonsense. There are some lovely quotes from this:

"I don't want to move fast and break things when what is broken is the social contact."

"Become indigestible. Grow spikes."

He is claiming they leaked classified information, but in reality, they leaked that HE was leaking classified information.

If you want to classify #autism as a disease, then let's also fucking classify a lack of #empathy as a disease. Because that's the thing that's sure as shit killing society at the moment.

I realized it's been a minute since I've posted Snooty. He's gotten huge and no longer fits in his little house. I gave him a new hideout, but he didn't like where I put it, so he had to move it.

Basically USA Republicans Have decided to try to cut Medicaid, and then when people lose medical services and get sick or die, blame the states. They think their constituents are stupid enough to buy that. I can't argue, history has shown that sometimes when they make that bet they're absolutely correct. I only hope this is not one of those times.

@The_Icarian @huntingdon in some cases, ICE has aressted the people who came to represent or translate for people before an immigration court. IIRC

Tonight, as the sun sets, marks the beginning of Yom HaShoah
where we remember the six million—
not just how they were taken,
but how they held on.

Shabbat candles lit in cellars,
psalms mouthed in the smoke,
Torah smuggled in torn coats,
faith buried like seeds in the snow.

They fought—
with words, with hunger strikes,
with lullabies in the dark.

They were not just numbers.
They were our blood.
Our broken, burning heart.

And somehow, we’re still here.
Singing in strange lands,
lighting candles with their names in our mouths,
walking the long road they never finished.

Their memory is not just grief.
It is covenant.
It is uprising.
It is the flame we refuse to let die.
