@GayDeceiver You know, that reminds me of a book I read. In Fire in the Abyss, Queen Nefertari gets transported via the Philadelphia Experiment to today-ish (1980s), visits New Orleans, gazes at the skyscrapers and says, “My but aren’t these modern men in love with their phalluses.”

Smile on the Void, by the same author, was more complex but also more challenging.

@josh0 That is nothing, I have to check in my bedroom from time to time to make sure the diesel truck I hear idling is actually in my neighbor’s back yard. Not sure why he needs to start it up, idle it loudly for half an hour and then shut it off without going anywhere.
