Trump taught me several life-lessons that seemed more or less theoretical, but have been validated in actual experience. One can draw certain conclusions:
Society isn't fair.
Celebrities, the wealthy, and psychopaths/sociopaths prosper.
America is incredibly racist, bigoted, xenophobic, and ignorant.
Wicked instruments of torture are constructed by many hands.
Men ard condemned as much by sins of omission, as commission.
Life is a huge, sprawling morality-play ...a bad one, and most people are bad actors, and bad people.
I cannot express to you how much Trump, and the cult of Trump depresses, sickens, and infuriates me, because not only are the Hitlers, Putins, and Sarah Palins of the world possible - they are inevitable, and very few of us avoid getting splattered with blood.

@Tharpa I won’t say most people are bad, however we are flawed, most of us function as sheep being herded, we are overly selfish, many don’t have a second thought about receiving benefit at other people’s expense, and frequently we have trouble dealing with reality. And there are a relative few, best described as angels who live among us.

@Huntn00 My main emotion these days is jaded disappointment. Trump has exposed Plato's lie that men sin because of ignorance...no, they sin because they love to sin, they take joy in being wrong, abusive, and evil, that's the sick truth festering in the heart, head, and shitty bowels of human nature.

@Tharpa @Huntn00 Not all people are as messed up as that guy, though. You need a better yardstick (metrestick?)
