I better understand the idea of anarchy, but I also see the roadblock, the dark side, the nature of humans. .You’ve got to convince millions that anarchy is the better path, and you’d better be armed to defend this approach from the old school assholes that want you under their thumb. And finally anarchy seems to me to be an unstable status quo if it’s even possible to maintain as a net positive condition. 🤔

Not saying the goal is bad as you see it. Not helping, we’ve all seen anarchy in post apocalyptic terms. The Post Man for example, you’re going to have conflict and consolidation of power. Some would be peaceful. What will make anarchy work as a broad based frame of mind is when the nature of humans fundamentally changes. 🤔

@foolishowl @RD4Anarchy@kolektiva.social @HeavenlyPossum@kolektiva.social @i_dabble@strangeobject.space @mloxton so you seem to be arguing anarchy as a philosophy? 🤔 The problem is that we exist in an economic system, and to change that system you’d need broad support using an argument that the system needs to be dismantled without a path from A to B. Most people won’t buy that. Seems to me we are stuck until something forces a change.

If you’re hoping to get millions of people to volunteer for anarchy as a system, I find that to be a hard reach until things get a hell of a lot worse than they are right now, which might just happened. 🤔

Was just wondering if there might be some anarchists in there, hoping he’d tear the country down for a fresh start? 🤔

I grew up in a comfortable Middle Class Capitalist society (DC/Maryland), I’m 70 years old. Companies,: manufacturing makes economic sense. I was conservative in the USN, unions opened my eyes. I have believed that properly regulated by an oversight Govt set up to serve the people, Capitalism could work. But it’s not working. Continued…

Everything else is secondary. Millions of jobs exported, the middle class, decimated, domestic markets weakened, the environment harmed, democracy threatened all for $$$. I doubt it will survive automation, and AI.

Are they his suckers or could they be disgruntled anarchists delighted by the prospect of him tearing down the the system? The issue would be fascism, not anarchy as an end result. 🤔

It depends on how the term is defined. The “occupying force” good or bad, are those that seize the world and bend it to their will. The sheep let it happen because they are not similarly driven or not motivated. As the world burns more will get motivated and shake off sheep status. 🤔
