@RD4Anarchy@kolektiva.social @foolishowl @HeavenlyPossum@kolektiva.social @i_dabble@strangeobject.space @mloxton Anarchy when portrayed as a peaceful solution that will make most people happy strikes me exactly as a fantasy. Not saying the goal is bad as you see it. Not helping, we’ve all seen anarchy in post apocalyptic terms. The Post Man for example, you’re going to have conflict and consolidation of power. Some would be peaceful. What will make anarchy work as a broad based frame of mind is when the nature of humans fundamentally changes. 🤔

@Huntn00 @RD4Anarchy @HeavenlyPossum @i_dabble @mloxton What convinced me to take anarchists seriously was Occupy Sandy, particularly after what we saw happen with Hurricane Katrina. With the various levels of government, and NGOs with deep pockets, doing absolutely nothing during a disaster, mutual aid groups (mostly anarchists) were practically the only organized aid efforts.

At this point practically the only people I ever see trying to do anything real are anarchists.
