History shows how dangerous moral panics can be. Jews were falsely accused of murdering or harming children in blood libel myths. Today, trans people are similarly accused of “grooming” children, creating fear and mistrust where none exists. Both narratives invent threats to innocence, weaponize fear, and justify discrimination. These fears are not based in reality. They exist simply because some people don’t like us.
