This was only the third time in Canada's history a monarch has delivered the address, which is usually given by the governor general. Charles was there at the request of Prime Minister Mark Carney and referenced Canada's unique identity and a renewal of "national pride, unity and hope" in a speech that underlined the country's sovereignty in the face of U.S. President Trump's "51st state" threats.

Our provincial government is trying to censor 2SLGBTQ+ books in school libraries. They posted a survey about it, you can fill it out whether you have kids or not, and as a "concerned Albertan," I mean, aren't we all concerned, really? For where you live you can also choose "prefer not to say."

Aside from the fact that anyone can get seriously ill from COVID, a key point they are deliberately hiding when removing access is that COVID vaccines reduce transmission. People choose to get vaccinated to protect other people. It is wrong and harmful to take that choice away.

He acknowledges here that he's been protecting the Kremlin.
