I’m so done with the “that’s so clean” UI… or the “it elevates your content” UI… or the super duper quirky UI — you know, the “oooopsie we made a fucky wucky” errors UI. I don’t need my UI to spark joy. What I need is for it to work well and efficiently.

Can we just get back to real UIUX that just works? My apps are tools — not something pretty for me to just stare at.

so we have Sec of Def randomly texting classified info over an unsecured device and DHS Sec losing her credentials at a restaurant.

seems like that signal group all need to be hauled in for hearings and lose all clearance access right now...

definitely feels like this is just the tip of a security incompetence iceberg and our national security is playing the titanic in this scenario.
