A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to return the Maryland dad it abducted and deported to a notorious El Salvador mega-prison.

His wife, US citizen Jennifer Vasquez Sura, said she “hasn’t spoken to Abrego Garcia since he was flown to his native El Salvador last month and imprisoned. She urged her supporters to keep fighting for her husband ‘and all the Kilmars out there whose stories are still waiting to be heard.’”

As Trump golfs in Florida this weekend after destroying our economic future, we are in danger. Those of us already retired and relying on Social Security are watching Musk's minions potentially tank the payment system in their haste to speed up modernization of the payment technology. Those immediately behind us who expect to retire soon may have to work until they die because neither Social Security nor their retirement savings will be there. More than that, if we have a Depression, jobs will disappear (there are already far fewer jobs now for those of us educated and trained as professionals)... so yes, this is a dire warning. Let's all hope and pray it's wrong.

Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is introducing a bill along with Rep. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) to stop Trump's "emergency tariffs" and give the tariff power back to Congress, where it belongs.

Grassley is the President Pro Tempore of the US Senate, it doesn't get more "senior leadership" than him, so what Trump has done today is so insane that it is sparking panic in the highest levels of his own party in Congress, and they realize they need to step in and stop this or be blamed for the failure.

I did some quick math and replacing Income Tax with Tariffs on goods would equate to replacing $3.3 trillion with roughly $680 Billion. If that's correct, the country's screwed.
