Just a quick thought. I'm sure many (everyone?) here have a preference for Harris's VP pick, but once she's announced, that person deserves 100% of our support. No nit-picking, second-guessing, or backseat whining... the GOP will pounce on any Democratic dissention.

In January the House passed a bill to expand the Child Tax Credit, which would have lifted half a million American kids out of poverty.

Yesterday, almost every Senate Republican voted to block the bill.

This bill isn't perfect, but fighting child poverty shouldn't be partisan.
