Just a quick thought. I'm sure many (everyone?) here have a preference for Harris's VP pick, but once she's announced, that person deserves 100% of our support. No nit-picking, second-guessing, or backseat whining... the GOP will pounce on any Democratic dissention.

In January the House passed a bill to expand the Child Tax Credit, which would have lifted half a million American kids out of poverty.

Yesterday, almost every Senate Republican voted to block the bill.

This bill isn't perfect, but fighting child poverty shouldn't be partisan.

That's one of the reasons that I'm glad that New York City has stepped up to hold Donald Trump accountable.

I'm so hoping that Judge Merchan sentences him to jail. That will give him an excuse to not take the stage with Kamala in a debate at least.
