We know factually that Trump had hundreds of classified documents taken out of the White House and moved to his private residence.

We know that he did nothing to get these declassified. All his excuses amount to "I did it, therefore it was legal", despite a dozen ex-presidents who did comply with relevant laws.

We know that he showed some and waved them around to people at his estate while trying to make various points. None of those people went through any kind of vetting process.

Republicans have stood by while our children are slaughtered in their own homes, classrooms, theaters, parks, and on the streets. Republicans have no one to blame but themselves.

Now isn't the time for Biden to make nice. Now is the time to hammer it home.

While I'm at it I do wish the immediate response from so many people to any example of Trump getting away with it again wasn't panic, despair and disarray. For fuck's sake, keep your eye on the (immediate) prize: Keeping him and his blazingly fascist crew away from the White House. Shit is not going to get any less chaotic between now and November. They are counting on you to give into that chaos. Please consider not doing so. Angry is fine, focused is better, and voting is fantastic.

So let's get this straight Clarence Thomas went to Russia, in secret, with Harlan Crow. The trip included helicopter ride to a palace in St. Petersburg. This is the first known yacht trip. Let's examine implications

First, a rich American with a #SCOTUS justice doesn't just show up unannounced, fly a helicopter into St. Petersburg. That shxt requires advanced notice and clearance AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL, so at minimum Putin and the Kremlin spy and kompromat operatives knew about this.

The Kremlin would also know that Thomas failed to disclose the trip on mandatory reports - so they knew in 2003 that Thomas could be bribed & was willing to lie to the US government. They knew in 2003 they had leverage over a SCOTUS justice.

I also find it impossible that US intelligence services did not also know about this in real time. George Bush & George waterboard Tenet CIA DIR must have known Thomas was in Russia on a bribe/junket. They kept his secret, too. Russia knew it had leverage there, too.
