After WWII it was very easy to convince people of beliefs and personalities out to kill them. Because everyone knew the threat was real. So you could form consensus and act on the threat

The publications claimed they came from "Hunter Biden's laptop," but they were apparently completely fabricated. The former agent says they knew the messages were fake when they published them.
