The session is in its final days. Lawmakers are considering proposals to ban gender-affirming care and update the state’s abortion ban.

Also, senators nixed a child marriage ban and an amendment to outlaw spousal rape.

It saddens me greatly whenever I read some trans person worried that there's no safe place to live to be trans, and that like they believe it will be illegal to be trans everywhere in the world in the next few years
