Through the merger of right wing politics, white evangelical christianity, dark money, and voter suppression, the U.S. is haplessly flailing its way toward a theocratic takeover of the U.S. Government. The extremist right is so good at this insider threat mode and the center & left are largely defenseless against it. They seem afraid to play when their rules have been discarded. Christianity is today precisely the #natsec threat that its adherents tried to label Islam with some 20 years ago.

That this guy gets to decide whether you can get a potentially life saving abortion is the most ridiculous and unreasonable thing I’ve ever heard.

The Pentagon just failed its audit — again. For the sixth time in a row, the agency that accounts for half the money Congress approves each year can’t figure out what it did with all that money.

The Pentagon has *never* passed an audit. Until 2018, it had never even completed one.

No other federal agency could get away with this. There would be congressional hearings. There would be public outrage.
