It's interesting to me how comfortable non-Jews are telling (mostly liberal and progressive) Jews what is and isn't anti semitic. I tend to defer to the judgment of ethnic and religious groups to which I don't belong on such matters.

It's bad enough to expect someone to work until they're 80 yet refuse to hire them after they turn 50. It's worse to attach healthcare to their job or Medicare, yet ignore those who fall between 'too old to hire' and Medicare-eligible. But it's a whole other thing to saddle those same people with the burden of caring for family members with Alzheimer's simply because they don't make enough money to afford care. How much does the middle class have to suffer before we say ENOUGH?

I would add to Hallett: Law is always an artifact of human thought and culture, and so, as bound to be immoral as people themselves are and have been.
