@eniko I agree, wear a mask. I’m 70, for any large group of people, say entering a grocery store, mask on. COVID along with Flu and other vaccines in themselves, don’t prevent infection, but overall they do minimize the impact on the individual and society to help keep us up and running. #AntiVaxers seem to operate on right wing conspiracy theories.
Based on the track record of Humanity to date, I’m far from convinced we have anything approaching #TheRightStuff. 🤔

Potential graduate students: when you send me email enquiring about graduate studies with me, and your email contains a sentence along the lines of "I am particularly intrigued by your publication <Paper Title>", but don't say what intrigues you, then I know you haven't read it.
I get several of these emails a day, so I know you're using a standard template.
OTOH: If you do tell me something you found interesting about one of my papers, I'll (usually) reply.

Trump's cruelty-inspired immigration advisor Stephen Miller has just told New York Times that if Trump is elected, he will build "vast holding facilities" where immigrants who will be rounded up will be held. "Miller bragged that the camps would be built using Homeland Security and Department of Defense money so that a new Trump administration will not have to go through the normal route of getting the Congress to appropriate money to cover their cost."
