You can now turn *any* WordPress blog into a Fediverse server which can be followed from Mastodon etc.

I've updated the instructions on how to do this at:

I am so angry that the Israeli government had to release photos of mutilated murdered babies in an attempt to refute denial. This is a spectacle of death and the dead should be protected from it. It is profoundly disrespectful and it shows the contempt in which many hold the Jewish victims of violence, even the ones too young to have learned their first word.

But the thing is, public documentation will never be enough. The Holocaust is the most well-documented genocide and that does not stop Holocaust denial, not at all. “People love dead Jews” but only when it serves their narrative. Otherwise we are lying manipulators with a sinister agenda.

I have not seen the photos and hope never to. If more people would see the victims of massacre and war as real people, they would stop clamoring for such “evidence” which serves no purpose other than to desecrate the dead. #Israel

About 35 days until the next government shutdown deadline. No work appears to be happening on any funding bills because there’s no speaker. Nor has the House had either a symbolic or real response to the events in Israel. No sign there’ll be a speaker anytime soon. The Senate has been doing appropriations work, but w/o the House, they have nowhere to send their versions of bills which would require negotiation anyway.

We had all better face the fact that our government may be on the verge of a complete meltdown. Another of those things no one could have ever imagined, that may in fact happen. Then the MAGA saps will learn that the deep state WAS the state, and it kept their social security checks arriving on time each month. It could all come to a crashing to halt if the lunatics remain in charge of the asylum. America is broken.
