I was thinking this weekend, that if the Republicans in Congress had just freaking impeached him, he couldn't run again, and there would be less drama now - yes, he should face the consequences of his actions but most people are more concerned that he can be re-elected. Trump is doing what he does, but it is the feckless Republican party that got us here.
