NEW: Mississippi election officials have made 161 voting precinct changes ahead of tomorrow's primaries, our investigation finds.

They moved 92 to precincts, closed 41 and opened 28 new ones. But not all the changes are reflected in the state's system.

Rare constitutional challenge signing statement from Biden: laying down a marker, claiming that Congress cannot intrude into diplomatic negotiations with Taiwan over exec branch objections as a constitutional matter. (I think USTR has been letting lawmakers participate tho.)

Per NYT: "U.S. Hunts Chinese Malware That Could Disrupt American Military Operations"
Big deal! No way the Chinese could disrupt American Military Operations more than Tommy Tuberville and his GOP supporters already do. #Tuberville #NationalSecurityThreat

Zoom ordered no more work from home for its employees because someone in legal read the new Zoom ToS and was shocked by what Zoom can now do with the content of Zoom calls.

2/ Weissmann:

#Cannon clearly shows her ignorance (bias? both?); obstruction crimes that were investig are charges that cd've been brought in FLA or in DC, thus cd be investig in either district + there was conduct alleged to have occurred outside FLA.

Why Cannon latest order is so off base: 1512 (i) permits obstruction case to be brought where the crime, OR intended effect on investing, occurred. & grand jury may investig if simply a good faith basis for either in grand jury's district

Judge CANNON comes out swinging at special counsel this morning, striking two of prosecutors' sealed filings and demanding an explanation of "the legal propriety of using an out-of-district grand jury proceeding to continue to investigate" the docs case storage.courtlistener.com/reca

'I remember blaming refugees for my homelessness because a friend told me refugees were taking all our council houses. This argument was bullshit. There were streets of empty houses the council wouldn’t let anyone take, refugees included. Those houses ended up being sold off on the cheap. Thankfully, it didn’t take me long to realise refugees were not the reason the council screwed people like me over, the system was.'

I was thinking this weekend, that if the Republicans in Congress had just freaking impeached him, he couldn't run again, and there would be less drama now - yes, he should face the consequences of his actions but most people are more concerned that he can be re-elected. Trump is doing what he does, but it is the feckless Republican party that got us here.

...this is just an extension of Project Blitz, the Christian Right’s playbook to revise history to promote a theocratic vision for the country.

The Loose Cannon in #Florida responded to our government's request for a hearing on Waltine Nauta's lawyer's conflicts & disclosed the existence of a secret grand jury investigation in another district while denying government's motion to seal their filing.

Jack Smith can appeal and may tee up the issue of her fitness to be on this case at all.

uspol, antisemitism, antiblackness

The contrast between how people treated Jamie Foxx's apology and how people treated RFK Jr's antisemitism illustrates once again the perniciousness of white supremacy.

Marginalised people are always held to a higher standard than the groups that oppress them

RFK Jr. has never apologised for his remarks.

I remember, in college in the '90s when authoritarians were all in the past, I was studying authoritarian leaders - Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini -- wondering whether there was a deeper "playbook" that guided them, or if it was a defect in their personalities that led to their rise to power.

With Trump, I can't imagine him following an authoritarian playbook (or any book, for that matter) but I see his personality disorders leading directly to his authoritarian tendencies.
