ANY other government employee accepting free luxury vacations from ANYONE — let alone people with business before that government employee — would be FIRED.

And they’d be fired FOR CAUSE.

While big tech tries to force employees back to the office, smaller tech companies are using remote work as a competitive advantage to hire and retain talent. 81% of firms <5,000 employees allow remote work or have a remote work option.

Liberal Zionists who are trying to save Israel from itself have adopted a term fashioned by the left-- "one-state reality"-- and are calling for U.S. pressure against Jewish colonization of the West Bank.

How many times will Ron DeSantis lose in court? (Again and again...)

I'm sure he thinks he's the victim here, not the trans people caught in the back-and-forth of whether they'll be able to get appropriate treatment in their state.

I'm glad to see yet another restriction on trans people getting care struck down, this time on whether Medicaid will cover treatment.

So I get confused sometimes as to why a racist, misogynistic, molester, and probable alcoholic could have been elected to the supreme court.
Then I remember the racist, misogynistic, molesters, and probable alcoholics that elected him... and it all makes sense again.

Justice Gorsuch highlighted the mistreatment of tribal communities by the federal government in a SCOTUS decision saying Justice Kavanaugh’s majority opinion neglected the circumstances leading to an 1868 water-rights treaty involving the Navajo Nation.

I have to repeat myself. Why isn't this on the headline of all newspapers?

Malaria used to be endemic and not uncommon in the United States as far north as Chicago, before being eradicated by large-scale public health campaigns involving the draining of mosquito breeding sites and pesticide spraying.

This resurgence in Florida really wants to happen. The disease and the insect vector are both happy here, and I really wish people appreciated the scale of government involvement required to keep Malaria out.

The move by the G.O.P.-led House was the first in what could be a series of votes seeking to punish those whom Republicans have deemed enemies of the party.

The G.O.P.-led House formally censured Representative Adam B. Schiff, Democrat of California, on Wednesday over his role investigating former President Donald J. Trump, the first in what could be a series of votes seeking to punish those whom Republicans have deemed the party’s enemies.

The censure passed by a party-line vote of 213 to 209 with six Republicans voting “present.” The measure had the backing of Speaker Kevin McCarthy after its lead sponsor, Representative Anna Paulina Luna, Republican of Florida, altered its language to remove a multimillion-dollar fine some Republicans viewed as unconstitutional.

I’m not gonna tell people to CW things. Know why?

It’s tone policing.
It’s attempting to control a conversation I don’t want to participate in.
Telling strangers or even my followers what to do is not effective, I have found.

You know what is effective?

Dealing with it myself.

I can mute your boosts or I can mute you. In the extreme case, I can block you. And I don’t have to make a shitshow about it.

At the end of the day, you know who is responsible for what appears on my feed?

Me.

I am responsible for who I follow, and what I choose to see.

If you are clogging my feed with things I don’t want to see, telling you to CW or not to boost things without one isn’t going to work. My own experience has demonstrated this, time and time again.

@pivoinebleue I can not stand that smug STUPID SOB #Tuberville....he's one of the worst Alabama has had...and that's saying a lot.
