Weird how the same people who think the 2nd Amendment means "you can't ban guns" don't think the 1st Amendment means "you can't ban books."

@rbreich
And no more Roman Catholics for a while. We need a few atheists, Buddhists, and Protestants to balance things out. We did it for Black people and women, let's see it for atheists, Hindus and Sikhs, but failing that, let's at least see a few Protestants, who are currently with zero representation on the court, nominated and confirmed.

Having escaped hanging on 1/6, weird spineless slime creature that dwells in dark-money caves to speak at conference of rabid anti-#LGBTQ+ bigots. #USpolitics nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-out/pe

Tennessee has forcibly removed two of three elected Democrat officials simply because those officials wanted to protect children from unmitigated gun violence

The chamber vote was 72 to 25. Other red states will follow.

In fact, Florida has already made efforts to remove *all* Democrats from future ballots

Republicans are still in the middle of a coup attempt

If the Republican Party in Tennessee are right, does that mean the Democrat Party (in general) can oust those senators who helped incite 1/6? (Or any other R senator they disagree with?)

The Tennessee State House Republicans just expelled Rep Justin Jones. It's a sad day for Tennessee, democracy, gun sense victims & advocates, & America.

MY LATEST: Donald Trump has longed acknowledged his obsession with revenge. After being indicted, he now is fully employing it, and the rest of the right is embracing his politics of vengeance. That could be dangerous. Please read and share this.

I guess the question is whether we even live in a civilized society in the U.S. anymore. Or whether a large portion of people in this society even desire civility. When the only solution to debate is to shoot at someone with different ideas, we can safely assume we have deteriorated past an important threshold. @thetnholler tennesseelookout.com/briefs/sh

I just vetoed a bill that attempted to block our Administration from protecting our nation's waterways – a resource millions of Americans depend on – from destruction and pollution.

Let me be clear: Every American has a right to clean water.

This veto protects that right.

Alan Turing is widely recognized as a hero and a genius. He’s considered the father of theoretical computer science and AI.

But he was also a gay man whom the British government chemically castrated.

Turing killed himself because of the way his government treated him.

What more might he have done had he lived?

As this wave of hatred sweeps the US, I wonder how many gay and trans Alan Turings we’ve already lost, and how many we’ll continue to lose.

Does Ronny understand that there is a purpose to Congress other than running around trying to go after people every day?

the people who whine and cry about being 'forced' to call trans people by something other than their birth name will turn around and refer to a 52-year-old man as "Kid Rock" with a straight face
