@DrPsyBuffy @ManOfRust having taken my mom who is almost 90 to appointments I can assure you it gets much worse . She’s physically frail but fine mentally. They called me in and the doctor proceeded to address his comments to me rather than my mom until she spoke up and said “if you want a medical practice where you speak to the person who brought the patient in you should switch to veterinary medicine”. The very elderly are treated like things, not people.

Cops around here love those open and shut cases and they won’t investigate anything they can possibly mark down as “accidental” or “natural causes.” Anyone who’s a member of a marginalized group is in danger.
