@AlliFlowers Oh no, they *love* it. You know somebody is very serious about being in business when they cherry-pick one or two things they’ve heard from academics or in a TEDx talk and then beat them to death, usually bereft of any context.

It was an okay day for me and I’m grateful for it. Today was the worst day ever for 10 families. America is killing Americans. Adults and children. Unique, precious, irreplaceable people. It’s a burden we all carry till we do something about it. Being pro-gun reform doesn’t exonerate me from culpability. The carnage reflects our values as a nation. It’s disgraceful and we should all be ashamed. With each shooting, we should be ashamed.

If you don’t support gun reform, you’re not pro-life. It’s that simple.

It's weird, as a librarian, to have to have conversations with yourself about how far you would go. Would I be willing to go to jail for 30 days because I did the right thing and refused to take LGBTQ books off the shelves? Could my family afford me not working for 30 days for doing the right thing? Would I still have a job afterward? Would I be able to maintain my clearances to work with children if I had been to jail for 30 days for not removing allegedly sexually explicit books from shelves?
