Nobody should think that McCarthy is the establishment of Republican here being held hostage by insurgents. All groups are majority-MAGA nihilists and nobody is fighting for effective or a good government, but just individual self advancement based on where they sit.

We’ve gone from the most productive Congress in decades under Democrats to one where a barely passing motion to adjourn and go home by republicans is the treated like a glorious victory.
