STOP the vicious circle. Do not try to make "boost and follow so we can fight" happen here. It won't. All it will do is get you muted or blocked. Leave that behavior on twitter!

One’s educational trajectory and one’s vocational or occupational trajectory need not intersect, despite the myths to the contrary. If they do, as in my case, they should be celebrated. Learning for the sake of learning is a worthy endeavor and we must mainstream that notion.

Never been more intimidated by a Black woman who wasn’t my mother than when I met Eartha Kitt at a restaurant in CT.

She had just performed a show. I got all fanboy and approached her (respectfully!) to tell her how much I’d enjoyed her career.

I’m fairly tall so she asked me to bend over and come closer. I got down on one knee next to her chair. She growled, in that magnificent voice, “I love making grown men kneel before me...” 😂 😍
