If you want to keep up with what’s going on with elections and election law, I’d suggest Democracy Docket and Marc Elias over some random unsourced YouTube or Substack or some social media rumor.

It’s too bad he got driven off here but you can still read and subscribe to it.

If there’s something going on with election law or voter suppression, he’ll have it.

I mean, just for clarification, I was thrown out of the Canadian Forces in an anti-queer purge 39 years ago. I have not drilled in all that time.

But I just checked. I can still do all the basic manoeuvres, and some of the more complex ones, right off the bat. Give me two minutes with an instructor, I'd have it all back. I remember the full procedure for dressing the line (a complex move where you make the line both straight and evenly spaced).

This is not something you just...forget. It's not something you have to focus on doing. It becomes automatic. That they're not doing it, while walking in formation, is a deliberate choice.

Masks are under serious threat at being banned widely due to politicization. This would be a public health disaster. If you are only wearing a mask at protests, please consider also wearing them elsewhere. The more people mask, the more we normalize masks and protect them against bans.

Great rallies and I certainly don't want to criticize the #NoKings rallies that Indivisible and Democrats helped to organize.

What I want to point out is that I think we focus too much on just Trump rather than on his political party like the GOP does to Dems.

By making the Dem brand so despised as the GOP have done has worked a lot better than have our efforts that seem to just focus so much just on Trump

If every time you can replace Trump's name with GOP it would help get them out of power

L.A. Taco scored a scoop for the history books: editor Javier Cabral recognized Arturo Obrego at Union Station after the elderly Army vet's assault by the LAPD mounted phalanx went viral and got his story. Pure courage. The horse troops have to go. instagram.com/p/DK6LWNBOpTC/

If Trump could read, he should read this. But he can't so he won't.

Stephen Miller is deliberately choosing to focus more resources on non-criminals—and thus away from dangerous criminals. Law enforcement insiders have leaked word of their anger over exactly this. https://trib.al/p9PRMU8

Responding to concerns regarding unidentified plain clothes ICE agents telling people to get in an unmarked van, Congress requires the use of bumper stickers on non-ICE vans saying “This van will take you to a second location to murder you.”

The shitgibbon in chief looked super tired during his failparade yesterday. That fucker kept nodding off. If they can't keep him perky even when all the cameras are on him, I assume he's basically a cantankerous zombie when the cameras are off. Caught in a state of permanent rage, confusion, exhaustion, fear, and disgust.

GOOD.

I'd say he can rot in hell, but it appears as though he's already there.

@littlemiao I'm 54% through Night Owls after starting it last night. Saying it was well-written was quite the understatement. This is great! Thank you!!
