Masked ICE agents arrest the Mayor of Newark New Jersey, while he was going to check out an ICE detention facility in his city.

The facility is suspected of operating illegally. He was accompanied by members of Congress. Seeing this shit reminds me of Nazi Gestapo in WWII. Instilling fear by use of force. What kind of monster does that for a job & enjoys it? I don’t care what Tom Homan says. “Just following orders” didn’t cut it as a defense during the Nuremberg trials.

Let’s be clear: the #Constitution’s #HabeasCorpus Suspension Clause [Article I, Section 9, Clause 2]:

1) Does NOT allow the President to UNILATERALLY suspend #habeas, especially when #Congress is in session;

2) The clause ONLY applies to cases of invasion or rebellion (this is quite clearly neither); &

3) Even then, it applies only "when the public safety may require it."

If you’re getting worked up about chosen names but not married names, honourifics or even nicknames, what you're really getting angry about is that people you hate are allowed to make choices for themselves.

Salt Lake City and Boise Adopt Official Pride Flags in Response to State Laws

The cities approved several new flags after Utah and Idaho passed laws barring unofficial flags from being displayed on government property.

The capitals of Utah and Idaho adopted new official city flags on Tuesday in response to state laws barring the display of any nonofficial flags at schools and government buildings.

The state measures were seen by civil rights groups as efforts to prevent the display of flags supporting L.G.B.T.Q. people. The City Council in Salt Lake City approved three new flags: one with the rainbow colors of the Pride flag, a second with the pink and blue of the transgender Pride flag and a third with a symbol and date referring to the Juneteenth holiday that commemorates the end of slavery. Each flag also includes the sego lily, a city symbol.

That Starmer would go along with the charade reflects horribly on him. Lots of adjectives and claims. No much substance.
