"Conducted by California State University Channel Islands economics professor Dr. Bryan Tomlin, the study, titled “#Jewish and #Israeli #Americans Face #Discrimination in the Job Market,” found that job seekers with names that “sound” Jewish and resumes that “signal” a likely Jewish background needed to send 24.2 percent more inquiries to potential employers to gain an equal number of positive responses as non-Jews. For Israelis, the number was higher, with 39 percent more inquiries required for receiving equal responses."
Don't we all. That's the problem: both views are valid.
In the short term, local context, you want an AI tool, of course, whether you're a teacher, parent, student, policymaker....no brainer.
In the long term, national/global scope, you want a broader systemic reform, which the adoption of AI tools disincentives further.
This is what tears my heart apart.
TIL about Thiaroye massacre where hundreds of African soldiers who helped defeat the Nazis in 1944 were shot to death by the French Army because they rightfully asked for their salary.

@tofugolem At this point Conservative Christian opinions should be met with air horns. All they want is to control and persecute others, anything they say are distractions meant to waste time and energy.

"How America was not founded as 'a Christian country' based on 'Judeo-Christian' values."
Mia Brett nicely critiques how "Judeo-Christian" values isn't a thing, but an example of Christians attempting to appear inclusive when they do the opposite.
Nor was America founded on religion. It was founded on a novel rejection of the standard European, medieval, and late Roman model, in which govt sponsored a single state religion.
