The #Harris campaign statement re #Trump’s #NABJ appearance.
“The hostility Donald Trump showed on stage today is the same hostility he has shown throughout his life, throughout his term in office, & throughout his campaign for president.”
“Today’s tirade is simply a taste of the #chaos & #division that has been a hallmark of Trump’s #MAGA rallies this entire campaign.”
"Trump has already proven he cannot #unite America, so he attempts to divide us.”
Kamala Harris: "By many indicators our economy is the strongest in the world. But while inflation is down and wages are up, prices are still too high. You know it and I know it ... on day one i will take on price gouging and bring down costs."
"We continue to call for Venezuela’s electoral authorities to release full, transparent, and detailed voting results, including by polling station. This is especially critical given that there are clear signs that the election results announced by Venezuela’s National Electoral Council do not reflect the will of the Venezuelan people as it was expressed at the ballot box on July 28." - White House

Extreme heat is making schools hotter — and learning harder https://www.tucsonsentinel.com/nationworld/report/073024_heat_schools/extreme-heat-making-schools-hotter-and-learning-harder/
Children have a harder time thermo-regulating and take longer to produce sweat, making them more vulnerable than adults to heat exhaustion and illness, and now the effect extreme heat is having on schools and child care is starting to get the attention of policymakers and researchers.

Iowa is the latest to ban abortion > "six weeks"
In fact: "six weeks since last menstrual period ended". Ovulation only happens 7-10 days later.
"Six weeks" is just enough time to be "a bit late" … if one's cycle is regular, but most are not.
Things that can delay the cycle include:*
▪ exercise
▪ travel across time zones
▪ stress
So it's effectively a 0-to-4-week abortion ban.
Or, a Total Abortion Ban, for short. 😭
Perhaps the women in M∆G∆'s ideal world never deal with these?
Trump's statements about ending elections could disappear down the memory hole, buried by his next nonsensical boast or outrageous lie. Don’t move on. Don’t let this go. Or Project 2025 either.
