During the commercial break, White House print pool reporter Tyler Pager of the Washington Post was briefly permitted to go into the studio with photographers.

"POTUS and former President Donald Trump were both standing at their lecterns, staring straight ahead as photographers snapped photos.

Neither of them said anything or made eye contact with one another. POTUS cracked a smile at the photogs, and as the pool was being ushered out, Trump took a sip of water from a plastic bottle."

It frustrates me that this election will likely come down to bluster-filled lies vs. good policies delivered weakly.

SERIOUS mistake by #CNN not to provide real-time fact-checking during the #debate. They are letting the convicted felon LIE constantly, without ANY pushback, and then expecting #Biden to defend against it. And I don’t want to hear about how Biden looks tired, is misspeaking, etc. The convicted felon is straight up LYING ON NATIONAL TV with wild abandon, with no consequences. FFS.

You can’t keep up with all the lies. Too bad CNN didn’t just put Daniel Dale off to the side to fix this live on air.
